AFET app for iPhone and iPad

AFET (Acoustic Field Evaluation tools) is a room acoustic measurement application. Itll can be evaluate the state of the room acoustic. Weve condensed out of the know-how that Yamaha has accumulated so far.
Previously the measurement of room acoustics was necessary specialized knowledge and know-how. But this app has been designed as easy to use for everyone. Operation is also simple and easy, but the obtained results is equivalent to a dedicated measuring instrument.

This app includes the following three tools.
- Liveness ... Measurement of reverbration time and evaluation of sound absorption ratio
- Boomy Bass ... Visualisation of the state of standing wave that causes boomy sound
- Flutter Echo ... Visualisation of the flutter echo that causes coloration sound
You can be physically assess the room acoustic condition of listening room, musical production studio, music practice room, meeting room and the rest by using this tools.

- External loud speaker is nessesary when measuring.
(such as Yamaha MSP3)
- Bluetooth speaker non-compliant.
(It can not correctly measure the speaker consuming compression on the signal path)
- Built-in microphone of iOS device is typically used to measure.
(also supporting to the external microphone)
